Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including coordinating with payroll, benefits acquisition and administration, and compliance with employment laws.
Lead recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding efforts to attract top talent.
Promote skilled trades at schools and job fairs.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
Assist with updating the employee handbook, safety manual and job descriptions.
Partner with management to address employee relations issues and performance management.
Maintain complete and accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Compile and report required federal reports including, but not limited to Affirmative Action plan, EEO-1, EEO surveys, VETs 100 along with other compliance or requests for employment information.
Assist with future benefits procurement and HCR testing, developing and distribution of SPDs and SMMs and coordinating open enrollment activities.
Assist the Quality and Safety Manager on tracking and issuing required training for staff development.
Guide and support supervisors in coaching, employee development, and conflict resolution.
Proven experience in HR Management or senior HR roles by demonstrating a working knowledge of business or Human Resources at a level normally acquired through completion of a two-year degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management and 2-4 years’ experience in a Human Resource role.
Solid understanding of federal, state, OSHA and local employment laws and ability to keep up with any changes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
Advanced proficiency with electronic document management and multiple software programs.
Assist in scheduling or completion of Background Checks and DFSP testing annual reporting.
Must be self-motivated to keep all reviews and recruiting efforts moving and on schedule.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, including high voltage work, and can read and interpret schematics. This role involves both renovation projects and industrial electrical work, requiring proficiency with various power tools and adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC). As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical installations.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Renovate existing electrical installations to meet current standards and specifications.
Utilize voltmeters and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues.
Work with high voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including frame carpenters and maintenance person services, to complete projects efficiently.
Interpret blueprints and schematics to execute electrical installations accurately.
Ensure compliance with NEC regulations during all electrical work.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while managing tools and equipment effectively.
Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or equivalent certification (This is NOT an apprentice position. Completion of NCCER 4 and 8,000 OJT hours with completion certificate or grandfathered experience is a must).
Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, high voltage applications, and power tools.
Ability to read and understand technical schematics and blueprints.
Familiarity with NEC standards is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials as needed.
Background Check clearance and valid driver's license (certified Real-ID). If you do not have a Real-ID currently, that will need to be updated for job access purposes.
Calvin Electric LLC is growing and currently seeking skilled Residential Electricians to join our dedicated team. This role involves working on a variety of residential projects, including new installations, service upgrades, lighting systems, and general wiring. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and a solid understanding of residential electrical systems in compliance with NEC (NFPA 70) standards.
